ACC Poster Session/Exhibit
This year the American Coal Council is offering an exciting new feature - the ACC Poster Show/Exhibit. A poster session at the Implementing Fuel Flexibility Strategies Conference serves as a forum to highlight your products and services. Poster presentations provide other conference participants an opportunity to quickly and easily become acquainted with your company. An effective poster presentation highlights, with a visual display, the main advantages and features of your product/service.
Advantages of a Poster Session
- There is more opportunity for discussion with interested viewers.
- A session or round table can only be heard ONCE but interested persons can view a poster several times and come back for additional clarification/discussion.
- The informal opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas, and for useful feedback and discussion, can be greater with a poster presentation.
- Posters can be prepared ahead of time, so the presenter can relax and focus on other things while attending the conference and not be worried about that "formal presentation."
The American Coal Council will provide each presenter with a covered table plus a standing floor easel on which to display your material. You may bring a folding tabletop easel if you need additional display easels. You may set up your posters and exhibits July 20th at 6:30am. Posters will remain on display during the entire conference. The formal poster session will be from 4:15 pm until 5:30 pm on Tuesday, July 20th.
During the poster session time, presenters are expected to remain at their individual displays to be available for questions and informal discussion of the poster content.
You must bring any supplies you may need (tape, felt-tipped markers, tacks, etc.) as we will be unable to provide supplies to the presenters during the conference.
